Germany: The Rhino Mafia

Rhinoceros poaching is a problem not only in the wilds of Africa. There's recently been a series of thefts of rhino horns from European museums.

Two rhino horns were recently snatched in broad daylight from a musuem in Oerrel, Lower Saxony, and an entire head from another museum in Surrey, England. Meanwhile, an attempted theft in Liege, Belgium, was foiled. The horns are sold for use in Chinese herbal medicine and can fetch thousands on the black market.
